Instructions
Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Assemble the Bottom Layer
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press half of it into the bottom of the baking dish to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Add Reuben Layers
- Spread the chopped corned beef evenly over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle the drained sauerkraut over the beef.
- Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing, spreading it out to cover.
- Top with 1 cup of the shredded Swiss cheese.
Step 4: Top Layer and Bake
- Unroll the remaining crescent roll dough and place it over the top of the layers in the dish.
- Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with caraway seeds, if using.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
- Let the bake cool slightly before cutting into squares.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with additional Thousand Island dressing on the side.
