Ingredients
For the Pasta Delight:
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for a flavor kick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
- Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Beef and Bacon
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess grease.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is soft.
