Creamy Chicken and Vegetable Pot Pie

2. Assemble the Pie:
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place one pie crust in the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish. Press gently to fit.
  3. Pour the creamy filling into the crust, spreading it evenly.
  4. Place the second pie crust on top, trimming and sealing the edges. Crimp with a fork for a decorative touch.
  5. Cut small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  6. Brush the top crust with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
3. Bake:
  1. Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  3. Let the pie cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
