2. Cook the Ground Beef

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a wooden spoon.

  3. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

4. Combine the Filling

  1. Add the cooked ground beef mixture to the bowl with the creamy sauce.
  2. Fold in the thawed hash browns, making sure they’re evenly coated with the sauce.
