Crockpot Goulash

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks, and once browned, drain off any excess fat. Add the diced onions and garlic, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until soft.
  2. Transfer to Crockpot: Add the cooked beef mixture to your crockpot. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce (if using), paprika, Italian seasoning, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Add the Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the elbow macaroni (uncooked). Let it cook in the crockpot until tender, about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Once the pasta is cooked, remove the bay leaf, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese (if desired), and top with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

This Crockpot Goulash is a savory and filling dish, with tender pasta in a rich, flavorful tomato-based sauce. Perfect for busy days when you want to “set it and forget it”!
