- Roll Out Puff Pastry:
- Roll out the puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If it’s in a square or rectangle shape, you can cut it in half to make two smaller pies or leave it whole for one large pie.
- Add the Filling:
- Spread the cheese and ham mixture over one side of the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Fold and Seal:
- Fold the other side of the pastry over the filling and press down the edges with a fork to seal the pie. Poke a few small holes in the top to let steam escape.
- Brush with Egg Wash:
- Beat the remaining egg with 1 tablespoon of milk, then brush this mixture over the top of the pastry to give it a golden, shiny finish.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
