Garlic Sausage Alfredo Rigatoni

For the Sauce:

  • 1 lb (450 g) garlic sausage, sliced or crumbled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups (500 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional, for extra depth)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra grated Parmesan
