Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
2. Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor.
Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Combine Everything
Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, use the reserved pasta water to loosen it to your desired consistency.
5. Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle fresh basil over the top for a burst of color and flavor.
Serve immediately and watch the compliments roll in!
