Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  1. Sear the Steak:
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (about 2-3 minutes). Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  1. Sauté the Vegetables:
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  1. Make the Sauce:
  • Pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  1. Combine:
  • Return the cooked steak to the skillet, then add the drained pasta. Toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
  • Gradually stir in the shredded cheese until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
