3. Shape the Patties
- Using your hands, scoop a small handful of the potato mixture and form it into a patty shape.
- Repeat until all of the mixture has been used, placing each patty on a plate as you go.
4. Pan-Fry the Patties
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough olive oil or butter to cover the bottom.
- Once hot, place the patties in the skillet in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
5. Serve and Enjoy
- Sprinkle with extra herbs or a pinch of salt for garnish.
- Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as sour cream, garlic aioli, or a spicy ketchup.
