Potato and Herb Patties –

3. Shape the Patties

  • Using your hands, scoop a small handful of the potato mixture and form it into a patty shape.
  • Repeat until all of the mixture has been used, placing each patty on a plate as you go.

4. Pan-Fry the Patties

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough olive oil or butter to cover the bottom.
  • Once hot, place the patties in the skillet in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

5. Serve and Enjoy

  • Sprinkle with extra herbs or a pinch of salt for garnish.
  • Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as sour cream, garlic aioli, or a spicy ketchup.
