Quick and Easy Chicken Breast Recipe

Instructions:

1. Prepare the chicken breasts:

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

2. Cook the chicken:

  • Heat the olive oil (or butter) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. If using a meat thermometer, the internal temperature should reach 75°C (165°F).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

3. Make the garlic sauce:

  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
  • Pour in the chicken broth (or water) and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to add flavor to the sauce.

4. Finish the dish:

  • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the garlic sauce over them. Let them cook in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon slices, if desired.

5. Serve:

  • Serve the chicken breasts with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or a simple green salad.
