Steak and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Steak:
    • Season the steak pieces with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak until browned and cooked to your liking (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium). Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Shrimp:
    • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil or butter. Add the shrimp and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until pink and opaque (about 2 minutes per side). Remove and set aside with the steak.
  4. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with black pepper, nutmeg (if using), and salt to taste.
  5. Combine the Pasta:
    • Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated. Add the steak and shrimp on top, mixing gently to combine.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy!

Pro Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can add mushrooms or caramelized onions to the sauce.
  • Make sure not to overcook the shrimp—they cook quickly and can become rubbery.
  • Adjust the sauce consistency by adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
