Stuffing Balls with Gravy

Instructions:

  1. Prepare vegetables (if using):
    • Sauté celery and onions in butter until softened. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Mix ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine prepared stuffing, cooked meat (if using), eggs, and sautéed vegetables. Mix well until everything sticks together. If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of chicken broth.
  3. Form balls:
    • Roll the stuffing mixture into golf ball-sized portions and place them on a greased baking sheet or in a muffin tin.
  4. Bake:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are firm and golden brown.
  5. Heat gravy:
    • While the stuffing balls bake, warm the gravy in a small saucepan.
  6. Serve:
    • Drizzle the warm gravy over the stuffing balls and serve immediately.
