Tater Tot Casserole

2. Assemble the Casserole:

  1. Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  2. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the filling.

3. Bake:

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  2. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

4. Garnish and Serve:

  1. Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley or chopped tomatoes for added flavor and color, if desired.
