3. Assemble the Casserole

  1. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of half the corn chips or tortilla chips.
  2. Pour the taco meat mixture over the chips, spreading it evenly.
  3. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese over the meat mixture.
  4. Top with the remaining chips and then the rest of the cheese.

4. Bake

Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.


5. Add Toppings and Serve

  1. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and any other toppings you love.
  3. Serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa on the side. Enjoy!
